TVGC offers various categories of memberships including:

Platinum Membership

These member may book in the 4 (four) peak weeks of every year. These weeks falls in the Easter week, the week preceding Christmas, Christmas week and New Year’s week. Platinum Members may also book three Silver weeks or one Gold week and one Silver week provided they pay additional exchange fees after the first free exchange. Platinum members may not split the gold week. The first booking / reservation fee is free every year and an exchange fee is payable for all subsequent bookings/reservations and if not used member has to pay it the next year.

Gold Membership

These members may book in peak holiday weeks, especially during school holidays, long weekends and event weekends, excluding the weeks or period allocated to Platinum memberships. The Member can book two Silver weeks provided they pay additional exchange fees after the first free exchange. Gold memberships or time modules cannot be combined to exchange into time modules linked to Platinum periods.

Silver Membership

These members are only entitled to book off peak weeks. It excludes all occupational rights that falls within those allocated to Platinum and Gold memberships as well as any long weekends and special events. Silver Members can split between mid and weekend provided they pay additional exchange fees after the first free exchange. Silver memberships or time modules cannot be combined to exchange into time modules linked to Gold or Platinum periods.

Exclusive Use Membership

These members are allowed to occupy a specific time module in a specific unit in a specific resort every year for the duration of the membership. Exclusive Use Members are allowed to space bank and exchange their week with the club with a matching season and size at an exchange fee.

Exclusive Use “Odd and Even Memberships”

This member is entitled to use this membership in the odd years only (being years ending on odd numbers i.e. 2009, 2011, 2013, etc.) or in the even years (being years ending on even numbers i.e. 2010, 2012, 2014, etc.).

Fractional Ownership Memberships

The member of this category will be entitled to occupy several weeks in a specific unit in a specific resort every year based on a fractional ownership calendar for the duration of the members’ membership. The member will incur an utilisation fee when using the fractional weeks. The Member is allowed to space bank and or exchange certain weeks subject to paying exchange fees.

Use of Site

You may only use this site to browse the content, pay your annual levies and exchange fees. You shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent payments. This site and the content provided in this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed. 'Deep-linking', embedding' or using analogous technology is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of this site and/or the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws or other laws.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The contents of this site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement.

Product availability and reservations

On the first of January of every successive year, Exclusive Use members in good standing with TVG CLUB will automatically be allocated usage of their Membership category originally purchased. Should a member decide not to make use of their specific time / module at the purchased resort and bank this time, the Club must receive the instructions or request 9 months prior and not less than 90 days to the date of occupation.

Late payment of Annual subscription fees will result in the week being space banked, Exclusive Use Members are liable to pay an exchange fee if they exchange banked weeks. A week that has been space banked will be valid for the current year plus two (2) years. Please request your calendar for the following year’s usage if you have not received it by the end of October.

All bookings and requests shall be accepted only if the members’ accounts are in good standing, both to the Club, Developers and the IPO and the relevant exchange fees have been paid.

All bookings and reservations shall be subject to availability, and must be requested or confirmed in writing by the member.

Always provide your VA number when corresponding with the club, remember to write down your reservationists name and avoid corresponding with multiple reservationists at the same time.

All membership categories except “Exclusive Use memberships” will not have the Right to demand occupation or use of its membership in the same resort and flexi week for two (2) years in a row.

All membership categories except “Exclusive Use memberships” will not have the Right to demand occupation or use of its membership in a specific resort or destination but have the right to request accommodation or a reservation in a region where the Club has accommodation rights.

Booking requests should indicate at least three (3) choices of destinations in a particular area, with date and unit size.

Upon confirmation of the reservation, the member shall be notified of the Accommodation Usage Charge payable in respect of the time module the member will be occupying and will only allowed access to said accommodation upon proof of payment.

Confirmation is verified by a Booking Confirmation from the Reservation Department. Any other communication in regard to confirmation does not constitute confirmation of booking.

A printed copy of the Confirmation voucher must be presented at the time of check-in at the Resort by the person whose name appears as the Guest on the Voucher or admission to the resort and enjoyment of the facility will not be permitted. 

A Guest Certificate Fee is payable for a Guest Name Change on the Confirmation Voucher.

During Platinum and Gold Seasons all bookings must be made for a Full week. Silver season weeks may be broken into mid-week and weekend portions.

Members have the opportunity to upgrade the size of their as well as membership category at an additional fee (Upgrade Fees).

Reservation Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be done in writing by fax or email.

If a reservation is cancelled/moved or swopped more than 30 days prior to arrival date, a cancellation fee (subject to change) is payable and the module/credits will be allocated back to your file.

If a reservation is cancelled/moved or swopped less than 30 days prior to arrival date, the module/credits used for this reservation will be forfeited.

Reservation rules and the fees pertaining to exchanges and upgrades are subject to variation as the Trustees of the Club may found to be necessary or appropriate from time to time without prior notice to the members of the Club. 

Refund Policy

The Member is afforded a five (5) day revision period, and should he/she wish to resign from the Agreement, the notice of cancellation of the agreement must be received by the seller within 5 (five) working days at P.O. Box 22, Bela Bela, 0480, Fax  No (014) 736 3501 or e-mail info@tvgc.co.za . Only notice by way of facsimile, registered post or electronic mail and received by  the Developer within the stipulated period, shall constitute compliance with this policy. The Member specifically agree that telephonic advice, text messaging, and or verbal communication shall not be acceptable as valid notification for purposes of this policy. All material and products received by the Member must be returned to above mentioned address, before any refunds will be made.

When the credit agreement is terminated in terms of Section 121, the Credit provider or authorised representative must refund any money that the member has paid under the agreement, within fifteen (15) business days, after the Applicant has advised the Credit provider or its authorised representative of the intention to terminate the agreement.

If any payment error require a refund, the Member should advise the Finance department in writing with the proof of payment. The Member will receive a document to confirm the Member’s banking details. Refund will be processed after 7 working days.

TVGC reserves the right to change pricing on an annual basis as stipulated in your contract.

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options.

EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)

One of the most widely used ways of sending money is online. You will then have to load TVGC as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use your Member number as reference line for your payment.

Direct Deposit

You may pay through a direct deposit. It’s exactly the same as doing an EFT payment, except you’ll have to go into your bank and physically make your direct deposit there. Please fax through your deposit slip to us on (014) 736 3501 to ensure your payment is confirmed.

Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.

Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services

Monitoring

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).

Law

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Updating of these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.

Consent

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to TVGC and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by TVGC for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
