The TVG Lifestyle membership programme model is based on the principal where all the savings are passed directly back to our members. TVG derives its income from the annual membership fees charged and not from the commission paid by the airlines, hotels, tour operators and car hire companies.
As mentioned above, we do not make money out of your holiday bookings. The annual renewal fee that you pay goes towards the running costs of our reservations department and covers necessities such as reservation office rentals, reservation telephone accounts as well as the reservation consultants' salaries. You can make as many bookings as you wish a year at no extra cost, as all costs associated with your reservations is covered in this renewal fee. To remain a member, this annual fee must be paid.
We are so confident that if you find the same travel offer or package available for a lower price anywhere, we will match the price or even beat it! This is subject to the clubs terms and conditions.
Find an international economy airfare, a domestic airfare, accommodation, car hire, travel insurance policy, package or tour that is available to the South African general public* from another branch-based travel agent, online travel agent or travel agent call centre.
Before booking the travel, you need to obtain a printed confirmation of the competitor quote on headed paper or equivalent (i.e. print out of web page) complete with price, booking conditions, travel dates, number of passengers and date of quote clearly shown. The TVG Price Beat Guarantee will be valid against the initial competitor quote only. We will not enter into an ongoing price negotiation.

The written competitor quote must be current and available to be booked at the price quoted at the time you present it to us. (If the quoted time or date isn't available, we'll do our best to keep it as cheap as possible!)
The guarantee only applies for travel on the same dates, using the same flights, airlines, hotels, car rentals, tours etc. and destinations as the written competitor quote.
The quote must be from a South African registered business or website for travel originating ex South Africa only.

TVG rigorously negotiates with its travel partners and affiliates and then passes theses negotiated discounts directly on to you in the way of real cash savings. We are not reliant on the traditional commissions which travel agents need to survive and therefore can pass these directly on to you.
We are a closed membership travel group which charges nominal monthly membership fee to our members – it is from these fees on which we have based our sound business model on.
It is impossible for us as a company to feature every resort and every town in the world on our website. Properties that are featured are in the most popular areas our members like to holiday at. If you request a region, town or resort that is not featured on our site, we will not turn you away. Part of our service to you is to endeavour to find the area or property that you are looking for. These bookings will not have the same discounts that we offer on our contracted resorts, but any discount we receive as a travel company, from the property, will be passed on to you.
You earn real cash. TVG does not have a reward or loyalty programme.
For each referral (friend, family or colleague) you send us and are signed up – they pay their annual membership fee and sign a debit order for the monthly fees - we will pay you a commission of R195-00 at the end of that month.
